Metal Art Classes Coming Soon!
Our art classes allow customers to fabricate their very own metal creations. Customers will learn the basics to constructing these one-of-a-kind pieces through techniques including welding, grinding, shaping, and more.
Safety is our top priority at 4th Dimension Fab. We provide adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) for our customers including welding hoods, face shields, welding jackets, gloves, and safety glasses. We provide all materials necessary for our projects, including a variety of tools and machinery.
Wear closed toe shoes, a long sleeve top, and pants for safety precautions. Additional PPE will be provided by us.
We use a welding process known as MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding for our projects. Other techniques we use in our classes include grinding, hammering, cutting, and painting.
Welding is a fabrication process that uses heat and pressure to fuse pieces of metal together. It is a practice that has been around for thousands of years. Today, some welding processes that are commonly used include: shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), metal inert gas welding (MIG), and tungsten inert gas welding (TIG).
Nope! No prior experience is needed. Here at 4th Dimension Fab, we walk customers through all steps and provide proper guidance to ensure success.
Yes. For example, if you already own a welding hood, welding jacket, or any additional PPE, feel free to bring those along.
